Information of the European Jeepers Jamboree
A: Foundation European Jeepers Jamboree, what about it ???????
Since 1984 and almost every year after that, a bunch of Jeepers is organising somewhere in a rather central part of Europe an
international get-to-gather of Jeepers, which they call the
EUROPEAN JEEPERS JAMBOREE or more simple
the JAMBOREE
In the beginning the organisation was carried out by the Dutch " The Original Jeep Owners Club" and their almost legendary chairman " Willem van Holten".
Since 1989 the organisation of the Jamboree is performed by a foundation, established by Dutch law. Normally there are about five jeep-fanatics on the committee, who also act together as the executive management of the event
The members on the committee and the volunteers assisting
during the event, do their work without payment and according the Articles of Agreement, the Foundation operates without any pursuit of profit.
B: The objective of the Foundation European Jeepers Jamboree
It is their main objective to organise, if possible once a year, in a proper and in a responsible manor an event:
· accessible for every driver of a 4x4 produced by or under the
license of JEEP®,
· in order to share their hobby with friends and family,
· to drive together the back roads,
· to compete their skills on the trails,
· to party and to have the best time of the year
We are proud to say that we did archived our objectives and that during the last fourteen events no mayor accidents or severe
casualties occurred by participants or bystanders
In all those years we worked closely together with the local
administration and authorities in respect for properties.
